We're currently looking to appoint an experienced Removals HGV Class 2 Driver, on behalf of our established Removals & Storage client, based in Hampshire.
What you'll do:
- A typical day will involve packing, wrapping and moving customers' furniture and personal effects.
- Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for local and regional removals.
- Pack, load and unload furniture and household items with care, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Communicate clearly with customers.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, safety checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with warehouse and yard duties as needed.
What you need:
- Proven delivery driver experience, preferably within removals or logistics sectors.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience in commercial driving environments with knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting.
