Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)

About the Role:

Our client is looking for an experienced Air Export Operator to join their busy freight forwarding team based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Air Export experience who is available to start quickly and is looking for a role that could become permanent.

What you'll do:

  • Manage air export shipments from booking through to final departure.
  • Prepare and process all Air Export documentation.
  • Complete export customs entries using CDS.
  • Liaise with airlines, overseas agents, customers and transport providers.
  • Arrange collections and coordinate shipments.
  • Track and monitor consignments, providing regular customer updates.
  • Ensure all files are completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
  • Maintain excellent levels of customer service throughout the shipment process.

What you need:

  • Previous experience within Air Export Freight Forwarding.
  • Good working knowledge of CDS customs entries.
  • Strong understanding of Air Export procedures and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude.
  • Available to start on a temporary basis.
