About the role: Our client is looking for an experienced Air Export Operator to join their busy Freight Forwarding team based in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Air Export experience who is available to start immediately and is looking for a role that could become permanent.
What you'll do: Working within a fast-paced logistics environment, you will be responsible for managing Air Export shipments from booking through to departure, ensuring freight is moved efficiently whilst delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining compliance with all export procedures.
- Manage Air Export shipments from booking through to departure.
- Prepare and process Air Export documentation accurately.
- Liaise with customers, airlines, overseas agents and transport providers.
- Arrange bookings and coordinate collections.
- Ensure export documentation is completed correctly and on time.
- Assist with export customs procedures.
- Monitor shipments and provide customers with updates.
