Take full ownership of a busy removals operation with a respected, long-established business in Bristol. This hands-on role gives you the autonomy to lead the branch day-to-day, optimise operations, drive service excellence, and develop a high-performing, safety-first team.

What you'll do:

  • Plan and manage daily schedules, allocating crews, vehicles, and materials efficiently
  • Lead and develop the team, setting standards and driving accountability
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality operations (H&S, RAMS, vehicle/driver checks)
  • Manage customer interactions, from surveys and quotations to issue resolution
  • Control costs and margins, including job costing, quoting, and damage prevention

What you need:

  • Proven removals experience with planning crews/vehicles and leading teams
  • Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills (industry systems + Microsoft 365)
  • Hands-on leader with problem-solving ability and calm decision-making under pressure
  • Full UK driving licence; C1/C or CPC a plus
