We are working on behalf of our global forwarding and logistics services client, looking to appoint an experienced Airfreight Coordinator to cover the late shift, working Monday to Friday, 1pm to 10pm, from their Bedfordshire branch.
What you’ll do:
- As Airfreight Coordinator you will be responsible for managing airfreight movements from start to finish.
- You’ll be liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments, coordinating transport bookings, providing excellent service, whilst ensuring compliance and maintaining protocols.
- Managing all jobs from quotation stage to final invoicing in line with the customer expectations.
- Initiate and Co-ordinate transport bookings.
- ASM Import / Export entries.
- Maintaining aviation protocols.
- Provide timely and proactive updates on all movements directly to the customers.
What you need:
- We’re keen to speak to resourceful freight forwarding professionals who have experience with Import/Export documentation and compliance.
- Applicants should have 1st class communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of Import / Export compliance and aviation protocols.
- Able to communicate on all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
