Our client, a specialist removals company, is currently looking for an experienced Removals Branch Manager to join their team. As the Removals Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the removals branch, ensuring efficient service delivery, excellent customer satisfaction and strong financial performance. This varied role combines operational management, team leadership, logistics coordination, sales oversight and financial responsibility. Main duties of the Branch Manager: Oversee all day-to-day branch activities, including domestic, overseas and commercial removals. Manage fleet usage, maintenance and compliance. Recruit, train and supervise drivers, removal crews and office staff. Set performance targets and conduct regular staff reviews. Handle customer enquiries, quotations and complaints. Build and maintain long-term relationships with private customers, clients and corporate accounts. Drive branch revenue through local marketing and sales strategies. Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships. Monitor key performance indicators, including revenue, margins and job completion rates. Ensure compliance with transport regulations, company policies and health and safety requirements. Conduct risk assessments and ensure the safe handling of customers’ goods. Uphold FIDI and BAR compliance standards. The successful Branch Manager will have strong leadership skills, excellent commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple operations within a busy working environment. Good financial and commercial awareness. IT literacy, including experience using scheduling systems, CRM software and Microsoft Office. A flexible and hands-on approach. A full UK driving licence.
