Airfreight Coordinator – Late, Day or Night Shifts

Salary: Up to £36,000

Location: Bedfordshire

Shift Pattern Lates: Monday to Friday, 13:00 – 22:00

Shift Pattern Days: 4 on 4 off / 07:00 - 19:00

Shift Pattern Night: 4 on 4 off / 19:00 – 07:00

We are working on behalf of our global forwarding and logistics services client, looking to appoint an experienced Airfreight Coordinator to cover the late shift, working Monday to Friday, 1pm to 10pm, from their Bedfordshire branch.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage airfreight movements from start to finish.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal departments.
  • Coordinate transport bookings.
  • Provide excellent service, whilst ensuring compliance and maintaining protocols.

Duties include:

  • Managing all jobs from quotation stage to final invoicing in line with customer expectations.
  • Initiate and coordinate transport bookings.
  • ASM Import / Export entries.
  • Maintaining aviation protocols.
  • Provide timely and proactive updates on all movements directly to customers.

What you need:

  • Experience with Import/Export documentation and compliance.
  • 1st class communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Import / Export compliance and aviation protocols.
  • Able to communicate on all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt and be flexible.
