Trainee Store Manager

Location: NW London

Training Coverage: North West London stores for the first 6 months

Salary: £30,067 per annum

Bonus: £500 every six months

Hours: 8:00am – 6:30pm (8-hour shifts within this window)

Weekends: 1 in 3 weekends, including occasional Sundays

Travel: Must have a car and a clean UK driving licence (business mileage reimbursed at 40p per mile from your base store)

Interviews to take place Immediately with a view to a start soon thereafter.

As a Trainee Store Manager, you’ll start by supporting a number of stores across the North West London area. This will give you exposure to different sites and teams as you build your experience. Once you’re fully up to speed, you’ll move into managing your own store.

You’ll be responsible for driving performance, increasing profitability, and delivering excellent customer service, while building a safe, supportive environment for your team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Focus: Deliver outstanding service and convert enquiries into loyal customers.
  • Sales and Growth: Drive store performance and hit ambitious growth targets.
  • Team Leadership: Support and coach teams across stores to maximise performance.
  • Marketing: Deliver local marketing plans to grow visibility and footfall.
  • Operations: Manage rotas, financial processes, CRM enquiries, and day-to-day store activity.
  • Travel: Visit multiple stores during your training period, working flexibly across sites.
  • Compliance: Maintain high standards for health & safety, store presentation, and operational procedures.
  • Reporting: Produce timely, accurate reports to track store performance and support decision-making.
  • Competitor Insight: Monitor the local market and customer feedback to keep your store competitive.
  • Team Development: Support personal development plans and lead inspiring performance reviews.

What You’ll Need

  • Full UK driving licence and your own car (essential)
  • Flexibility to work across North West London stores
  • A proactive, people-focused approach with a passion for customer service
  • Strong organisation and the ability to manage a busy workload
  • Commercial awareness and a drive to grow store performance
  • Willingness to work 1 in 3 weekends (including Sundays)
