This is a great opportunity for someone who loves hospitality, people, and sales to run a premium flexible workspace in the heart of Reading’s new Station Hill development. The business operates high-quality coworking, meeting and events spaces on behalf of building owners, focusing on creating welcoming, well-run workplaces rather than owning the buildings themselves. You’ll be the go-to person for the centre — the face of the space for members, guests and partners. With around 50 resident businesses across two floors, your role is all about building relationships, creating a strong sense of community, and driving revenue through coworking memberships and meeting space.

What the role looks like day to day:

  • You’ll have real ownership of how the centre performs. That means balancing commercial results with excellent service, leading the on-site team, and making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
  • Driving sales across coworking memberships and meeting & event space.
  • Upselling, networking and spotting opportunities to grow revenue.
  • Looking after members once they’ve joined — from onboarding to day-to-day support.
  • Leading and motivating the on-site team and setting high service standards.
  • Making sure the space always looks great and feels welcoming.
  • Managing suppliers, minor works and day-to-day operations.
  • Keeping on top of budgets, costs, health & safety and compliance.

About you:

  • You’ll come from a hospitality, events, serviced office or flexible workspace background and enjoy being hands-on.
  • You’re confident speaking to people, comfortable selling, and take pride in running a space well.
  • You will need to be customer-focused with a natural hospitality style.
  • Commercially minded and motivated by hitting targets.
  • Confident leading a small on-site team.
  • Organised, proactive and happy taking ownership.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and day-to-day systems.

You’ll be running a brand-new, high-quality space, it’s a role with real responsibility, strong earning potential through commission, and the chance to build a thriving workplace community from the ground up. Interviews to take place ASAP with a view to a start.
