Are you looking to make a genuine impact in the lives of people across this London Borough? We are working in partnership with a London Local Authority to recruit a talented and driven Sheltered Housing Service Manager to lead and elevate the delivery of sheltered housing services.?
This is an exciting opportunity to oversee sheltered housing services for nearly 1,000 tenancies across 22 schemes. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring older residents (aged 60 and above) benefit from a secure, person-centred service that promotes independence, wellbeing, and community connection.

Responsibilities
- Leadership & Oversight: Provide strategic leadership to sheltered housing services, embedding a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Resident-Focused Services: Ensure support is tailored to individual needs, fostering connections that help reduce loneliness and social isolation.
- Property Standards: Guarantee safe, well-maintained schemes that support quality of life and peace of mind.
- Partnership Working: Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver integrated services and enhance resident satisfaction.
- Budget Management: Lead on financial oversight, ensuring efficient use of resources and value for money.
- Engagement & Inclusion: Involve residents in shaping services through open dialogue, feedback, and inclusive practices.

Qualifications & Experience
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in housing, social care, or a related field (preferred).
- Sound knowledge of housing legislation, particularly relating to older people.
- Proven experience in strategic service management within Sheltered Housing, performance oversight, and leading diverse teams.
- Committed to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
