Job Title: Temporary Stenographer

Location: Chancery Lane, Central London

Duration: Temporary Assignment

Onsite: Central London

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented stenographer to assist a legal team with an employment tribunal case. This temporary assignment is based in the Chancery Lane area and requires a professional who can accurately transcribe legal proceedings and provide high-quality documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately transcribe spoken words during legal proceedings, including hearings and meetings.
  • Prepare and edit transcripts for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all legal documents and information.
  • Collaborate with legal professionals to ensure timely delivery of transcripts.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience as a stenographer or court reporter.
  • Excellent command of the English language, including grammar and punctuation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
