We are working with an established company in the light manufacturing sector, specialising in intelligent lighting and smart building technologies. With over 20 years of experience, they provide end-to-end solutions from design to installation. Our client is looking for a skilled Electronics Engineer to join their team and contribute to exciting product development projects.
Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Design electronic circuits and PCB layouts for lighting control systems, DALI drivers, Bluetooth modules, and more.
- Testing & Compliance: Oversee product testing, fault-finding, and ensure compliance with EMC and LVD standards.
- Documentation: Create schematics, BOMs, wiring diagrams, and test specifications.
- Project Management: Manage the R&D lab, maintain prototypes, and collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Support: Provide internal training and technical support, ensuring high product quality through thorough documentation.
Experience Required
- Experience: Degree (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, with proven experience in PCB design, testing, and compliance (ideally in lighting or related industries).
- Skills: Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on problem-solving approach.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with EMC/LVD standards, and experience with Bluetooth or embedded systems is a plus.
