Contract Manager – Estate Services £450 per day (Inside IR35) Full-Time – 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Start: ASAP – Applications Being Reviewed Immediately Contract: 4 months initially with potential for long-term extension Location: West London – On-Site Only We’re working with a respected public sector organisation to recruit an experienced Contract Manager to take ownership of estate services across a large and diverse housing portfolio. This pivotal position is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering high standards, managing cleaning and grounds maintenance contracts, and driving continuous improvement. If you’re a confident communicator, data-driven, and passionate about maintaining safe, clean, and well-kept estates for residents — we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor performance of cleaning and grounds maintenance contracts, ensuring KPIs and SLAs are consistently met. Lead and support a team of 4 Contract Monitoring Officers, overseeing inspections and ensuring quality standards. Hold monthly performance meetings with contractors, producing clear and actionable reports. Analyse service delivery data and implement improvement initiatives. Engage with residents, responding to complaints and enquiries with effective solutions. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices. Work in partnership with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve service delivery issues. Support projects that align with environmental sustainability and climate objectives. Attend occasional resident and stakeholder meetings, sometimes outside normal working hours. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience in estate services contract management – cleaning and grounds maintenance essential. Strong track record managing customer-facing contract monitoring teams. Confident working with KPIs, performance management, and reporting processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. Strong data analysis capabilities and high-level IT skills (MS Office, contract systems). Ability to identify service improvements and deliver change. Flexible and proactive, able to work to tight deadlines in a busy environment. Committed to sustainability and high service standards.
