Join Our Team as a Business Support Officer! 🌟 Role Title: Business Support Officer Department: Adult Social Care Reports To: Team Manager Rate: £20 per hour PAYE (circa £25 per hour Umbrella)  Location: On-site 3 days per week Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional with a passion for making a difference in your community? This is a permanent role offering a fantastic opportunity to support a dynamic team dedicated to improving the lives of residents. About the Role You will play a vital role in enabling the smooth operation of the team by providing essential administrative and financial support. Your responsibilities will include: Providing accurate and timely administrative support, including processing referrals, preparing care folders, and archiving. Delivering practical IT-based support for the service. Acting as a key contact for the team, resolving issues or directing them to the appropriate officer. Supporting the preparation of meetings and events, including room bookings and catering arrangements. Handling telephone enquiries, photocopying, and other administrative tasks as required. You’ll need to be a flexible team player with a solution-focused attitude, ready to occasionally work across the service when needed. About You To excel in this role, you’ll need: Proven administrative, organisational, and IT skills (Microsoft Word and Excel). Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills. The ability to multitask, prioritise, and work on your own initiative. Discretion when handling sensitive information. Desirable: Experience in an administrative role within Adult Social Care.
