Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to join our passionate team and help grow our brand presence across social platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on marketing experience with an exciting global brand. We’re seeking an enthusiastic individual who shares our vision and has the drive to deliver creative, unique and results driven social campaigns. This full-time role is a 1-year fixed-term contract.
As a Social Media Executive at Red Equipment, you will play a key role in managing and developing our social media channels, with an initial focus on Instagram & Facebook. You will take the lead in growing our TikTok presence and driving forward our Pinterest platform. This is a unique opportunity to develop and implement creative content strategies, work with a talented team of creatives, and help grow a vibrant online community.
This role combines creative flair with a results-driven approach, and an attention to detail is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily management of Red Equipment’s social media platforms, with a strong focus on Instagram & Facebook.
- Take ownership of TikTok, developing and executing strategies to grow this platform into a key channel for the brand.
- Strategically develop and grow Red Equipment’s Pinterest presence.
- Create and curate engaging, high-quality content for all social platforms, working with external content creators, in-house creatives, and the graphics team, as well as creating content yourself.
- Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to align on content strategies and campaigns.
- Monitor social media trends, competitors, and industry developments to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Engage with our online community, respond to queries, and build relationships with followers.
- Work with the Social Media Manager to track performance, providing insights on growth and engagement.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in managing and growing social media channels, particularly Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- You must have experience of creating content (video and stills) for social as this is a key part of this role.
- Ideally you will have experience of working with premium brands.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about social media, with a keen interest in staying ahead of trends.
- A passion for the outdoors, swimming, and water sports is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Experience of working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as needed for content creation and events.
