Red Oak Recovery Center (Asheville, NC) is a clinically dynamic, trauma intensive substance abuse and mental health treatment program designed specifically to meet the unique needs of our clients. Our focus is on clinical care, and we utilize the latest research-supported clinical modalities to ensure positive outcomes.

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant (Part Time) who can provide general office support to various departments within the agency. This is a part time, onsite position with 20 guaranteed hours each week.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general administrative duties
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and filing paperwork
  • Oversee office supplies and supply ordering
  • Assist with new hire orientation process
  • Assist with expense reporting
  • Assist with state audit file preparation
  • Assist with client chart auditing
  • Maintain accurate records and databases
  • Assist Human Resources Director as needed
  • Assist Patient Financial Services Director as needed
  • Assist with other general duties as needed
Schedule

Part Time, Onsite Monday - Friday, 4 hours daily

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • If recovering, 24 months of verifiable sobriety
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
  • Experience in a healthcare or social assistance industry
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software
