An amazing opportunity to become part of the well-known Pub in Northampton at Junction 16. We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team. We are open all day, every day and serve great quality fresh food and drink in a welcoming, relaxed environment.

The key responsibilities are to:

  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen, maintaining high standards at all times
  • Produce high quality dishes quickly and to correct specification
  • Keep all kitchen and food preparation areas always clean
  • Assist your colleagues at every opportunity ensuring good teamwork
  • Follow the Health and Food Safety procedures & legislation in place
  • Complete any daily and weekly administration/paperwork as required

What we expect from you:

  • Passion for cooking with a desire to develop your knowledge and culinary skills further

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Food Production role
  • Proven work experience as a Chef in a busy environment.
  • Committed to keeping up with cooking trends and best practices.
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Availability to work in shifts including bank holidays & weekends.
  • Qualification in culinary science or relevant subject preferred.
  • Good level of spoken English
  • Self-motivated, adaptable / flexible and a good communicator
  • Work optimally without supervision
  • Able to demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks and communicate effectively at all levels.
