Cleaner (part-time)

Job Overview

The Red Lion, Lower Withington, Macclesfield, Cheshire is a rural location. There is no public transport to this location. You would need your own vehicle.

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner for our rural pub. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across our tap room, dining room, function room and toilets. This role requires strong attention to detail, experience in a similar position, good communication skills, initiative and knowledge of health and safety within a hospitality environment.

Flexible hours to cover either an early morning clean before the pub opens or late evening when the pub is closed. Required for 2 hours a day 6 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in designated areas
• Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitised to maintain hygiene standards.
• Empty bins
• Be aware of and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the landlord.
• Interact with customers and colleagues in a professional manner
• Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and stored properly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning role is essential.
• A positive working attitude towards colleagues and customers
• Ability to work independently and use own initiative
• Own transport is neccessary to reach our rural location
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
