This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an inspirational Nursery Manager to shape, lead and grow a flagship early years provision within a newly unified and ambitious school. From September, two successful and respected schools will unite to create something extraordinary. Together, they will form a leading all-through co-educational day school for children aged 6 months to 19 years, with boarding for Senior and Sixth Form students.

As the school expands, the nursery will play a central role in creating a warm, enriching and high-quality environment for children aged 6 months to 4 years. The nursery will act as a gateway experience for families joining this private school. The nursery is currently being remodelled to create a modern, welcoming and carefully designed space. It will include several dedicated areas to support high quality early years provision, enabling children to learn, play and develop in a setting that reflects the standards and ambition of the wider school.

You will work with highly engaged families and a thriving school community, supported by a strong professional culture and extensive training and career development pathways.

The Nursery Manager will lead this new nursery provision and will be responsible for driving and shaping a state-of-the-art nursery. The role will be perfect for a person that enjoys leading a team, thrives in a dynamic environment and community. The Nursery Manager will be supported by the Senior Management Team and the wider Prep School Staff.

The school are looking for someone who has:

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent recognised early years qualification)
  • Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain on appointment)
  • Enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK
