Lead with Purpose. Shape the Future! We're looking for an exceptional Headteacher to lead a thriving and inclusive primary school in the beautiful Channel Islands. In this exciting permanent role, you will be responsible for the effective running of the school and its strategic leadership, ensuring that every child can succeed, regardless of background or need. You will maintain a strong profile as a leader within a warm, supportive and ambitious school and community, acting as champion of both the school and wider Education Service. You will maximise the experience and skill of the Senior Leadership Team to build on recent successes and lead the next stage of the school's development.

A natural leader, you must have significant and successful experience as a Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher or equivalent Senior Leader. You must also have a proven track record of leading whole-school improvement and raising standards for pupils in the primary sector. You must be able to think strategically and take a leading role in ensuring the school's reputation for personal development, dedicated staff and a broad curriculum continues.

This full-time permanent Headteacher role is to start in January and comes with fantastic benefits.

Skills and requirements:

  • PGCE (or equivalent)
  • QTS
  • Right to work in the UK
  • DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
  • Recent experience at Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher Level
  • Solid background in teaching
  • Strong leadership
  • Available to start in January.
