WATER HYGIENE TECHNICIAN OR WATER TREATMENT ENGINEER NEEDED FOR GROWING LEGIONELLA AND WATER SAFETY SPECIALIST TITLE: Water Hygiene Technician – Water Treatment & Legionella Safety PACKAGE: £25k – £30k salary – depending on experience. Opportunity for overtime but not required. Training and qualifications provided. Company vehicle, phone, tools, PPE, and fuel supplied. 22 days holiday + 8 bank holidays and pension scheme. HOURS: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM (early finish) LOCATION: North Hampshire, Surrey, and Berkshire PREVIOUS ROLES: Water Hygiene Technician, Water Treatment Engineer, Trainee Water Hygiene Technician, Apprentice Plumber, Remedials Engineer, Legionella Risk Assessor, Water Hygiene Engineer, Water Treatment Technician, Cleaner, Site Operative, Site Technician PREVIOUS INDUSTRIES: Water Hygiene, Water Treatment, Water Monitoring, Water Regulations, Legionella Treatment, Legionella Control, Legionella Safety, Plumbing, Construction, Cleaning, Health and Safety ROLE: As a Water Hygiene Technician focusing on Water Treatment & Legionella Control, you will perform tasks such as: * Closed loop analysis * Cooling tower analysis * Servicing TMVs * Tank disinfections * Cooling tower disinfections * Shower descaling * Water sampling The role involves traveling across North Hampshire, Surrey, and Berkshire. Most jobs will be within a 20-45 minute drive. EXPERIENCE: * Ideally, you will have at least 1 year of experience in water hygiene maintenance tasks such as tank inspection and cleaning, valve servicing, and water sampling. * An NVQ Level 2 or City and Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Plumbing or Water Hygiene, or a related qualification, is highly beneficial. * Familiarity with ACOP L8 guidelines and legionella awareness training is advantageous. * You should be eager to develop your skills and committed to professional growth. * This role requires willingness to travel around North Hampshire, Surrey, and Berkshire. * A valid UK driving license and at least 2 years of driving experience are essential
