EXPERIENCED TRANSPORT PLANNER TO BE PART OF A TEAM AT A BUSY WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITY.
My client is an established Waste Management and Recycling company. They are looking for a skilled Transport Planner to join their busy team.
SALARY: Package £35,000- £45,000 including bonus, on call payment plus pension
Hours: 7am - 5pm Monday to Friday plus on call 1 week per month
LOCATION: Reading, Woodley, Knowl Hill and surrounding areas

ROLE: Transport Planner / Administrator – Waste Management & Recycling
You will be responsible for the day to day management of a team of drivers and the routing for a fleet of waste vehicles. Give work instructions and monitor the performance of drivers, i.e. briefing/debriefing during course of working day. You will also be involved with the Admin aspects of the position, ensuring all paperwork is accurately completed. Ensure that all health and safety policies are complied to.
EXPERIENCE: Transport Planner / Administrator – Waste Management & Recycling
You will have excellent planning skills and a good understanding of compliance. You will be extremely committed and have stability in previous roles. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication and organisation skills, as well as logistics experience. You will have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A CPC would be beneficial for this position, however, it is not essential. Experience of working in the Waste Management and Recycling or related industry would be highly advantageous. Excellent man-management experience is a must.
