SALARY: £60,000 Plus Car or Allowance & Bonus
LOCATION: Remote with travel to suppliers and head office. Role covers the UK and you may be located anywhere in England.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Procurement Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing supplier relationships and optimizing purchasing processes for a top-tier waste management and recycling organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing existing waste service providers, monitoring their performance, ensuring competitive pricing, and verifying compliance.
- Sourcing new suppliers and negotiating cost-effective agreements.
- Overseeing subcontractors’ implementation and delivery of new services and contracts.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ideally qualified with CIPS Level 3+ or a degree in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
- Proven experience in procuring operational services.
- Waste management or recycling sector experience is essential.
- Valid UK Driving Licence required.
Background in roles such as Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Waste Broker, or Supplier Manager.
