HYBRID WORKING OPPORTUNITY FOR A SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER / PROCUREMENT MANAGER (IDEALLY CIPS OR DEGREE QUALIFIED), PURCHASING AND MANAGING SUPPLIERS IN THE WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING SECTOR.

SALARY: Circa £50K DOE Car or Car Allowance & Benefits.

LOCATION: Mainly Home based with national travel (ideally you will be along / around / within, M1, M4, M5, M6, M62 or A1).

ROLE:

  • Manage existing waste service providers, monitor their performance and ensure their pricing is competitive, ensure said suppliers are compliant.
  • Sourcing new suppliers and negotiate pricing.
  • Oversee subcontractors’ implementation and delivery on new services and contracts.

EXPERIENCE:

  • You will ideally hold a qualification such as CIPS level 3 or higher or a degree in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
  • You will manage subcontracted services.
  • You will have a background in procuring services as part of your role.
  • Any experience in the Waste Management & Recycling Sector would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • You will have a UK Driving Licence.
