Soil / Land Remediation & Restoration Operations Manager\\n\\nROLE: Site Operations Manager β Soil Remediation\\nPACKAGE: Β£50k-63k plus Pension healthcare, and car allowance\\nCLIENT: A leader in recycling and waste management sector looking to hire a Site Operations manager ideally with soil remediation experience\\nLocation β This is UK wide role and travel will be required\\n\\nPREVIOUS TITLES: Waste Operations Manager/ Landfill Manager, Muckaway, Construction Manager\\n\\nPREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: Waste Management, Landfill, Construction Site, Land Remediation, Soils, Composting, Green Waste, Hardcore, Aggregates\\n\\nROLE OVERVIEW\\n\\nYour key responsibility will be to ensure the material meets the required specification form a physical point of view β EG there are no lumps of aggregate / physical contamination in there\\nYou will also take samples for chemical analysis and again ensure product is of sufficient quality\\nYou will ensure that the road deliveries take place in a way that ensures compliance with health and safety and environmental legislation and that any infringements are cut out\\nOnce the soil is deemed fit then you will oversee any further processing.\\nOnce processed and treated the soil will be stock piled and stored. You will manage the storage process again ensuring environmental and health and safety compliance\\nYou will ensure that all of the above areas are measured and reported on utilising spreadsheets\\n\\nEXPERIENCE\\nYou will need an understanding in all the areas described above perhaps from one of the following industries:\\nConstruction / Land Remediation or Restoration / Processing Plant / Waste Management / Landfill Site / Muck away\\n\\nYou should have an understanding of:\\nSoil Transport, Processing and Storage\\nProcesses to include washing, screening, threshing\\nSoil Sampling\\nSite Health & Safety β IOSH / NEBOSH Desirable\\nCSCS Card\\nA COTC in treatment would be a definite benefit\\nYou must have at least 5 years experience in waste management operations\\nA Full UK driving licence is required
