HANDS ON SITE OPERATIONS MANAGER OR AMBITIOUS SUPERVISOR REQUIRED FROM A WASTE MANAGEMENT, RECYCLING, QUARRYING OR AGRICULTURAL / FARMING BACKGROUND TO RUN A BUSY WASTE & RECYCLING OPERATION TITLE: Site Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Operations SALARY: £40-45,000 plus Car or Allowance, Bonus, 25 days holiday, Plus overtime on Saturdays HOURS: Mon-Fri 47.5 hours per week, 7.00am to 5.30pm, Alternate Paid Saturdays in Summer Previous Experience May have been: Waste Site Manager, MRF Supervisor, Biomass Plant Shift Manager Metal Recycling Yard Manager, Anaerobic Digestion Plant Supervisor, Farm Manager, Quarry Supervisor, Composting Site Manager, Wood Recycling Yard Manager, Scrap Metal Depot Manager, Skip Hire Operations Manager, MRF Manager, Assistant Quarry Manager, Aggregates Recycling Operations, Manager, Anaerobic Digestion Plant Manager, Landfill Site Manager LOCATION: Hull ROLE: Site Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Operations Hands- on position where you will oversee operations and maintenance on-site and manage a team. In this role, you will be ensuring that all Health and Safety procedures are compiled to. Working on machinery and being involved with assisting in maintenance and reduction of downtime. You will also have involvement working within budgets and maintaining cost control. You will monitor site performance vs KPI’s EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Site Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Operations You will have experience in a Supervisory or Management role in the Waste, Quarry or Agriculture Sectors with an operational environment with large mobile and static plant equipment in operation. You will also possess excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team.
