WASTE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST REQUIRED TO ENSURE COMPANIES TRANSFER AND PROCESSING OPERATIONS ARE ENVIRONMENTALLY COMPLIANT WITHIN THEIR PERMITS SHEQ Manager/ Compliance Manager – WEEE/ Waste Electricals Package: £50,000 -£60,000 plus Mobile, Car or Car allowance, Pension Location: Midlands based to cover sites across England Previous Job Titles: You may have been an Environmental Manager, Hazardous Waste Management, Health and Safety manager, SHEQ Manager, HSE, Operations Manager, Recycling Site Manager, Environmental Compliance Manager or Advisor, Environment & Quality Manager, QHSE / HSEQ Manager, Compliance Manager, SHEQ Business Partner, Role: SHEQ Manager/ Compliance Manager – WEEE/ Waste Electricals You will ensure that waste material is transferred and processed in accordance with the client’s waste management permit You will ensure you work in compliance within the company\’s Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems, Policies and Procedures Experience – SHEQ Manager/ Compliance Manager – WEEE/ Waste Electricals We are looking for someone with an understanding of making compliant waste movements, you will also have a basic understanding of waste in a commercial sense and have some input into the sales teams You will be tasked with internal auditing for ISO 9001 and 14001 and producing quarterly reports. Lead contact with the Environment agency and the HSE Qualifications – Compliance Manager Ideally you will have an IOSH managing safely or NEBOSH qualification WAMITAB Level 4 would be ideal Any Environmental qualifications would be an advantage Any pertaining to commonly used IT systems such as Microsoft Office or Databases You may have had experience with: MRF, WEEE, Waste electricals, Plastic, Metal recycling, Transfer Station, Anaerobic Digestion, IVC (In-Vessel Composting), Muckaway, Waste Management, Recycling, Scrap Metal, Landfill, Hazardous waste
