AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR A SENIOR SITE CHEMIST – HAZARDOUS WASTE TO JOIN A LEADING WASTE MANAGEMENT COMPANY TITLE: Senior Site Chemist – Hazardous Waste Management SALARY: £32-35k DOE LOCATION: West Midlands YOU MAY BE: Senior Site Chemist, Site Chemist, Senior Technical Assessor, Technical Assessor, Technical Support Chemist, Hazpak Chemist, Process Chemist, Transfer Station Chemist, Hazardous Waste Management ROLE: Senior Site Chemist – Hazardous Waste Management As a Senior Site Chemist, you will lead a team of chemists, oversee documentation, and ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and company regulations. You will also be responsible for conducting COSHH assessments and managing the preparation of processed waste streams for nationwide distribution. EXPERIENCE: Senior Site Chemist – Hazardous Waste Management You will have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Senior Chemist or in a supervisory role within the hazardous waste sector and hold an HNC in Chemistry or an equivalent qualification. A solid understanding of hazardous waste processing and chemical safety is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Possession of a WAMITAB Certificate of Technical Competence (COTC), IOSH or NEBOSH safety qualification, or an equivalent certification is highly desirable.
