EXPERIENCED SENIOR / PRINCIPAL FIRE SAFETY ENGINEER NEEDED FOR AN ESTABLISHED GLOBAL FIRE SAFETY COMPANY TITLE – Senior / Principal Fire Safety Engineer LOCATION: London / Home counties SALARY – £40-75k DOE + Annual Bonus, Company Car, Health Insurance YOU MAY BE: Senior Fire Engineer, Principal Fire Engineer, Senior Fire Safety Engineer, Principal Fire Safety Engineer, Fire Safety Engineer, Fire Engineer, Fire Safety Advisor, Structural Engineer or Architect CLIENT: A global Fire Safety Company in fire science, covering all fire safety expertise. ROLE: Senior / Principal Fire Safety Engineer You should possess a strong understanding of building and safety regulations, along with solid engineering principles. You will be responsible for developing fire engineering solutions and strategies, as well as writing detailed reports. Experience in project management, working with clients and local authorities, and excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential. EXPERIENCE: Senior / Principal Fire Safety Engineer A postgraduate degree in fire engineering or similar engineering discipline is required, along with a strong understanding of fire engineering principles and fire dynamics. You should have experience in developing fire strategies, providing solutions, and writing detailed reports. Experience of developing and delivering innovative fire engineering solutions for various building types and working knowledge of UK fire safety legislation and guidance as well as international guidance documents. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as well as a proven ability to manage projects effectively. Prior experience in working with and negotiating with clients and local authorities is important. Knowledge of building regulation Eurocode desirable. UK Driving Licence is essential as the role involves travel to sites around London and Home Counties.
