OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED SECURITY SYSTEMS ENGINEER WITH A REPUTABLE ALARM PROVIDER.
SALARY: CIRCA £30-40k DOE. Holiday and pension scheme. Company Van.
LOCATION: Leicester / Coventry Area.
ROLE: You will be a skilled Security Engineer responsible for fault finding and carrying out remedial work on a range of security systems, particularly Intruder Alarms. To succeed in this role, you'll need a solid background in the security industry and hands-on experience with Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control. Familiarity with leading systems such as Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, and Scantronic is a strong advantage. This is a mobile role covering Leicester, Coventry, and surrounding areas, so flexibility to travel is essential.
EXPERIENCE: We're looking for a Security Engineer with solid experience in fault finding and carrying out remedial work on Intruder Alarms, CCTV, and Access Control systems. You should be confident with wiring and have a strong grasp of electronic principles. Experience working with brands like Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, and Scantronic will be highly regarded. Relevant qualifications in security or electrical fields are also a big plus.
Holding certifications such as FIA, BTEC, or NVQ Level 2/3 in Electronic Security and Emergency Systems, along with accreditations from NSI or SSAIB, will strengthen your application. A valid UK Driving Licence is essential, as you'll be travelling to client sites regularly.
