MRF Operations Manager – Waste Management & Recycling Location: Dublin, Ireland (Relocation assistance available) Salary: £75-85k + Pension About the Company Our client is a leading provider of Construction, Demolition, Earthworks, and Skip Hire services. They are seeking an experienced and dynamic MRF Operations Manager to oversee the operations of their busy Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) in Dublin, Southern Ireland. Role Overview As the MRF Operations Manager, you will play a hands-on leadership role, ensuring the facility operates efficiently, safely, and in line with company objectives. Key responsibilities include: • Managing daily operations to maintain seamless plant performance. • Enforcing strict adherence to health and safety regulations. • Achieving and surpassing key performance indicators (KPIs). • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase productivity. • Collaborating with the maintenance team to support and enhance planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules. What We’re Looking For Required Experience: • Safety Qualifications: A strong safety record with IOSH or NEBOSH certification preferred. • Industry Certifications: WAMITAB / COTC certification in treatment and transfer is advantageous. • Leadership Expertise: Proven experience managing teams, with a track record in waste management, recycling, or aggregates industries. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. • Industry Background: Essential experience in Waste Management, Hazardous Waste, Recycling, or Aggregates. • Management Skills: Expertise in man-management and change management, particularly in roles like MRF Operations Manager, Plant Manager, or Recycling Site Manager.
