AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR A HAZARDOUS WASTE MANAGEMENT SECTOR EXPERIENCED TECHNICAL ASSESSOR, MOBILE CHEMIST OR SITE CHEMIST TO WORK FOR A COMPANY WITH A STRONG PRESENCE IN THE NORTH OF ENGLAND TITLE: Mobile Chemist & Technical Assessor – Hazardous Waste SALARY: Negotiable depending on Hazardous Waste Sector Experience plus Company Vehicle & Benefits LOCATION: Mobile role working from home, you will be based in the north or north midlands PREVIOUS ROLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Technical Assessor, Technical Support Chemist, Site Chemist, Hazpack Chemist, Mobile Chemist, Chempac, Reception Chemist, Technical Coordinator – Hazardous Waste ROLE: Mobile Chemist & Technical Assessor – Hazardous Waste Assessing and packing hazardous waste at customer locations across the country, which may require overnight stays. Delivering technical support, including waste management, packaging, and collection services, to ensure efficient and compliant operations. Inspecting and verifying waste materials for compliance, integrity, and suitability for transport before movement, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date. Collecting and recording sufficient data to facilitate on-the-spot waste removal where feasible, ensuring materials are directed to appropriate facilities. Uploading detailed information to company systems to enable proper waste processing and acceptance at operational sites. You may be required to take samples, package waste etc. EXPERIENCE: Mobile Chemist & Technical Assessor – Hazardous Waste Experience working with hazardous waste is essential, ideally working as a Technical Assessor or as a Hazardous Waste Site Chemist You will have a good standard of verbal and written communication, and be competent in Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience of directly interfacing with a client would be desirable. YOU WILL HAVE HNC in Chemistry or higher, other related science degrees considered with 4 modules with Chemistry IN THE TITLE You MUST have a UK Driving Licence Other non-essential qualifications that would be advantageous: WAMITAB COTC, IOSH of NEBOSH, DGSA, WM3 / Classification oof Waste PREVIOUS ROLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Technical Assessor, Technical Support Chemist, Site Chemist, Hazpack Chemist, Mobile Chemist, Chempac, Reception Chemist, Technical Coordinator – Hazardous Waste
