HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER REQUIRED FOR WASTE MANAGEMENT OPERATION LOOKING TO DRIVE FORWARD COMPLIANCE AND MINIMISE RISK TITLE: Head of Health & Safety – Waste & Recycling SHEQ / HSEQ / QHSE SALARY: £60-67K, plus £8k Car Allowance, plus Bonus and Benefits LOCATION: Home Based with regular travel, you will be based between north home counties and the midlands PREVIOUS ROLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Group Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Manager, QHSE / HSEQ / SHEQ Manager, Head of Compliance, Head of Health & Safety, Group Compliance Manager ROLE: Head of Health & Safety / SHEQ / HSEQ / QHSE – Waste & Recycling You will be responsible for Health and Safety at a wide range of sites across the UK You will innovate and work to drive performance vs relevant KPI’s e.g. improving near miss reporting, reducing LTA’s and RIDDOR’s and make sure regular audits are in place You will maintain ISO’s and if required lead on any other relevant accreditations EXPERIENCE: Head of Health & Safety / SHEQ / HSEQ / QHSE – Waste & Recycling You will have managed Health & Safety or SHEQ at a management, regional or head of level You will have a background in a waste management, recycling or production / manufacturing You will be Qualified to NEBOSH Diploma or Higher Any affiliations that would be desirable include TechIOSH, GradIOSH, CMIOSH, IEMA as would any professional certification such as an MBA You will have experience of ISO 45001. Any quality management / ISO 9001, or environmental management / ISO 14001 experience would be welcome You will have excellent IT skills PREVIOUS ROLES MAY HAVE BEEN: Group Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Manager, QHSE / HSEQ / SHEQ Manager, Head of Compliance, Head of Health & Safety, Group Compliance Manager
