Hazpak Chemist / ADR Driver - Hazardous Waste Management

AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR A HAZARDOUS WASTE SECTOR EXPERIENCED SITE CHEMIST / HAZPACK CHEMIST / CHEMPAC CHEMIST TO WORK IN A HOME-BASED MOBILE ROLE ROLE: Hazpak Chemist / ADR Driver – Hazardous Waste Management PACKAGE: £30-35K, plus company Van Working hours 7- 4.30pm Mon – Friday (with an early finish on Friday 3pm) LOCATION: Covering Scotland – Home based role – Ideal location Glasgow and surrounding areas You will have experience working in the hazardous waste sector as a Transfer Station Site Chemist, Hazpak Chemist or Chempac Chemist ROLE: Technical Chemist – Hazardous Waste Management You will travel to client’s sites and assess and prepare hazardous waste which involves physical work You will undertake the required administration both paper and CRM-based, some of which may be undertaken at home You will comply with company policy EXPERIENCE: Technical Chemist – Hazardous Waste Management You MUST have experience working in the hazardous waste sector as a Transfer Station Site Chemist, Hazpack Chemist or Chempac Chemist You will have a good standard of verbal and written communication, and be competent in Outlook, Word and Excel and be able to pick up software quickly Experience of directly interfacing with a client would be desirable. YOU WILL HAVE a HNC Minimum, or Degree in Chemistry or a degree containing several chemistry modules Working knowledge of WM3 and ADR A valid UK driver\’s license and ADR Awareness certification are required. An ADR driving license is preferred, and a forklift license is advantageous (training provided if needed)
