GENERAL DEPOT MANAGER / HEAD OF OPERATIONS REQUIRED WITH AND ESTABLISHED BACKGROUND IN THE WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING SECTOR REQUIRED TO DRIVE PERFORMANCE IN A GROWING OPERATION TITLE: Depot Area Manager / Head of Operations – Waste & Recycling SALARY: Circa £55-60K plus Bonus, Benefits & Car LOCATION: Multi sire role you will be commutable to the West Sussex / South Kent area PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE MAY HAVE BEEN: Depot Operations Manager, General Manager, Area Manager, Head of Operations, Regional Manager, Depot General Manager, Area Operations Manager, Regional Operations Manager. IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE WORKED IN: Waste Management, Recycling Collections, Hygiene Services, Washroom Services, Clinical Waste. Exceptional candidates from Multidrop Transport & Logistics / Courier Services considered. ROLE: Depot Area Manager / Head of Operations – Waste & Recycling You will have operation control across multiple locations with financial accountability for the profitability of the business You will be responsible for operations at the operations’ depots You will look to improve service delivery, reduce costs and improve employee engagement You will ensure that all matters of compliance are maintained EXPERIENCE: Depot Area Manager / Head of Operations – Waste & Recycling You will have worked in the waste and recycling sector managing collections services for a minimum of 3 years at Depot Manager level or higher. You will have a Transport Managers CPC You will have had full P&L Management experience, not just working to a budget. You will also have had a track record of delivering profitable operations. You will demonstrate excellent man management skills, and have improved employee engagement in previous roles. PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE MAY HAVE BEEN: Depot Operations Manager, General Manager, Area Manager, Head of Operations, Regional Manager, Depot General Manager, Area Operations Manager, Regional Operations Manager.
