EXPERIENCED BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER / SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE WITH A BACKGROUND IN MANAGING HIGH CONTRACT VALUE WASTE MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR NATIONAL WASTE MANAGEMENT & RECYCLING BUSINESS, DUE TO EXPANSION.
SALARY: £48,000 - £63,000 DOE plus Bonus, Car or Allowance.
LOCATION: Home based with National travel. The client will consider people in or South of Liverpool/ Manchester/Sheffield, and in or North of Worcester/Northampton/Peterborough.
YOU WILL HAVE WORKED IN THE WASTE SECTOR AS AN: Account Manager, Senior Sales Executive, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Manager, Technical Sales Executive, Waste Broker, Accounts Director, Corporate Account Manager.
You will look to deliver, grow and retain total waste management services contracts including holistic waste collections services that may include onsite operations and supply of capital equipment into industry, manufacturing.
You may be required to deliver presentations, provide consultation and deliver a more solution-based service delivery upselling if the opportunity arises.
You will have experience in sales or account management in the waste and recycling sector focusing on £100K to multi-million-pound per year contracts; you will not be considered from an SME level.
You will be happy to travel across the UK.
You will have a good understanding of the operational side of a waste business and be credible in front of corporate / large business management teams and their sustainability function.
