ROLE: Business Development Manager / Fire & Security Systems Sales Executive
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities in Fire & Security systems, including Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and CCTV. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and driving sales to achieve targets.
You will develop and manage a robust pipeline of business opportunities across various sectors.
Conduct site surveys and prepare detailed proposals tailored to client needs.
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
EXPERIENCE: Business Development Manager / Fire & Security Systems Sales Executive
You should have a proven history of achieving sales targets in a similar new business role within the Fire & Security Systems sector, with strong knowledge of system design and tendering processes.
Your experience should encompass sales, business development, and fire and security system design, combined with a robust technical understanding of fire alarm systems, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications is essential, alongside excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Industry certifications such as FIA, BTEC, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
A valid UK Driving Licence is required.
