We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated and knowledgeable professional to join our Trust in a dual role as Data Protection Lead and Admissions Lead. This influential position sits at the centre of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance, transparency, and service across our schools and Central Team.
As Data Protection Lead, you will act as a trusted source of guidance on all matters relating to UK GDPR, supporting colleagues with clear, accurate advice and ensuring the Trust remains fully accountable as a public authority. You will lead on drafting statutory policies, managing data subject requests and data breaches, and coordinating our annual audit programme in partnership with our external Data Protection Officer.
In your role as Admissions Lead, you will provide authoritative support on school admissions legislation and help ensure our Trust‑wide processes align with the School Admissions Code 2021. Key responsibilities include leading the development of annual admissions policies, advising on complex or escalated admissions queries, and assisting with the preparation of case statements for independent admission appeals. You will also analyse admissions data to support strategic planning across the Trust.
The ideal candidate will possess a legal background or qualification and demonstrate a strong understanding of data protection law and compliance processes.
