Build and maintain key stakeholder relationships to ensure commercial decisions align with Governance Regulations and best practice. Lead procurement projects in line with the Procurement Strategy and corporate procedures, using standard templates, completing required reporting, and managing end-to-end tendering through the eTendering system (issue, receipt and evaluation against financial and qualitative criteria). Improve spend data collection and analysis to strengthen corporate insight and provide guidance to colleagues on tendering and contract requirements.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Recent experience in a similar role within a public sector organisation, with strong collaboration skills across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and a strong focus on compliance, with sound knowledge of drafting and editing contract terms.
- Proficient in applying financial evaluation models, with an understanding of risk management principles, and strong report and spreadsheet presentation skills, including the ability to draft executive-level papers with minimal oversight.
- CIPS Level 5 qualified (or able to demonstrate equivalent experience).
