Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager or Technical Delivery Manager.
- Strong understanding of application modernisation and .NET environments.
- Experience working with legacy technologies including Excel/VBA, MS Access, VB/VB6 and/or PowerBuilder.
- Experience delivering applications into Azure and/or OpenShift container platforms.
- Good understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and application migration projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Several years of experience delivering application modernisation projects.
- We require full and unrestricted right to work in the UK, and we cannot offer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Lead the modernisation of legacy business applications into modern .NET solutions deployed within Azure and OpenShift environments.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, developers, architects and infrastructure teams to drive successful application transformation projects.
- Bridge the gap between business and technology teams throughout the full application lifecycle.
- Lead discovery and requirements workshops.
- Work directly with application owners and business users.
- Challenge legacy processes and identify modernisation opportunities.
- Present technical solutions in business-friendly language.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and competing priorities.
- Produce project updates and executive-level reporting.

We are working with a prestigious insurance client on a highly visible Technical Project Manager opportunity focused on application modernisation. The role is based in London with attendance in our EC1 office required 2 days per week, alongside 3 days remote working.
