My client is an award-winning premier UK technical production house and technology leader, specialising in engineered power distribution and integrated technology solutions. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects, they are looking to recruit a fully qualified Electrician to join their expanding team.
This is a mobile role, not a static site-based position. You will work across a variety of commercial and corporate environments around the London area, supporting the delivery of high-quality electrical installations on a range of exciting projects. Travel will vary depending on project requirements, and occasional overnight stays will be required.
Working closely with experienced Project Managers and an in-house Engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering electrical installations to the highest standards. The role will primarily involve working as part of a two-person team, with opportunities to support and mentor apprentice engineers as you become established within the business.

Your Responsibilities
- Installing and terminating electrical systems within commercial environments.
- Installing containment systems including tray, basket, conduit and trunking.
- Carrying out 1st and 2nd fix electrical installations.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and installation plans.
- Testing and fault-finding on electrical systems.
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with current regulations and company standards.
- Working closely with Project Managers, site teams and other engineers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Mentoring and supporting the development of an apprentice engineer.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, health & safety and attention to detail on every project.
- Travelling to customer sites as required, including occasional overnight stays.
You Will Have
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
- ECS Gold Card.
- Experience working within commercial electrical installations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent practical and organisational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Willingness to travel as required for project work.
Desirable Experience
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
- Experience working within AV, data or integrated technology environments.
- IPAF and/or PASMA certification.
- Experience with structured cabling and network infrastructure.
- SSSTS or SMSTS certification.
- Experience mentoring apprentices or junior engineers.
