Key Responsibilities

- BIM & Revit Modeling: Author high-quality, data-rich 3D models using Autodesk Revit in accordance with project BIM Execution Plans.
- Coordination: Manage spatial and technical coordination with structural engineers, MEP consultants, and main contractors, proactively conducting clash detection.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure all designs comply thoroughly with UK Building Regulations, Department for Education (DfE) output specifications, BB103/BB104 guidelines, and local authority requirements.
- Site Support: Attend site meetings, respond to contractor RFIs (Requests for Information), review specialist subcontractor drawings, and conduct site inspections to ensure construction matches design intent.
What We Are Looking For
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: A degree in Architectural Technology (CIAT accredited preferred) or a relevant technical equivalent.
- Software Expertise: Professional, demonstratable proficiency in Autodesk Revit is mandatory. You should be comfortable building complex families, managing templates, and working in shared central models.
- Sector Experience: A proven track record of working on UK education (schools, academies, higher education) or public sector/civic projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of standard UK building construction methods, modern methods of construction (MMC), and sustainable fabric-first design.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to confidently interface with school governors, local authority stakeholders, and construction teams.

- Experience using NBS Chorus for writing technical specifications.
- Familiarity with visual coordination tools like Navisworks or Enscape.
