We are hiring for a continually expanding practice with an opportunity for a Senior Technologist to join and help grow their local and national reputation. The role will be primarily working in the high-end private residential sector, extensively on contemporary and conservation projects. We have high expectations of our new recruit: as an integral part of the design team the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high degree of knowledge and experience in key areas of the design process, including project inception, project planning, and contract management. They will also demonstrate a willingness to learn and take on information when needed. We are looking for someone with the right positive attitude to become a key member of our dedicated team of professionals and help drive the Practice forward.
Job description:
- Understand a client brief.
- Arrive at a suitable design solution in conjunction with other team members.
- Produce accurate and detailed construction drawings to current Building Regulations standard.
- Progress details through approval process.
- Produce detailed works instructions, material specifications and schedules of work.
- Record and manage drawing registers.
- Liaise with installation teams, sub-contract suppliers, clients and suppliers.
