A well-established Civil & Structural Engineering Consultancy specialising in the delivery of rail and water infrastructure projects is looking to recruit an experienced Bentley / AutoCAD Technician to join its growing design team. The business has a long-standing presence within the infrastructure sector and is involved in the delivery of a range of engineering projects across the UK.
The Role
- Produce high-quality technical drawings and design documentation.
- Prepare and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD and Bentley software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to support project delivery.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project and company CAD standards.
- Assist with document control and drawing management processes.
- Support the delivery of rail, infrastructure and utility engineering projects.
Requirements
- Strong AutoCAD experience.
- Experience using Bentley MicroStation.
- Previous experience within civil engineering, rail, infrastructure or utilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
- Experience with ProjectWise and/or Civil 3D would be advantageous.
Desirable
- OpenRoads experience.
- Network Rail, HS2, highways or water sector experience.
- Consultancy background.
