With an exciting and growing portfolio of projects secured across the UK, we are looking to expand our team with an experienced AV Installation Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing business delivering high-quality commercial AV, lighting, and integrated technology solutions across a wide range of sectors.
You'll be involved in the installation of cutting-edge AV and lighting systems including video walls, PA systems, meeting room technologies, intelligent lighting solutions, control systems, and structured cabling infrastructure, working alongside our experienced Project Managers and in-house engineering team to deliver projects to the highest standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Installing lighting & audio-visual solutions, including video walls, PA systems, and meeting room systems.
- Ensuring high standards of workmanship and attention to detail on every project.
- Setting up structured cabling and IT networks, including WiFi solutions.
- Configuring control systems.
- Mentoring and developing an apprentice.
You Will Be
- 3+ years working with AV equipment in a commercial environment.
- Ability to read and interpret elevation drawings, schematics, and plans.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude.
- Excellent construction and practical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites, overnight stays are frequently required.
You Will Be
- CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification
- Experience with large-scale AV and integrated systems installations
- Basic networking knowledge
- Basic commissioning skills (AV & VC systems)
- ECS certification
- PASMA and/or IPAF
