Key Responsibilities

Develop architectural designs from concept through to completion.

Produce accurate technical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.

Prepare and coordinate BIM models using Revit.

Produce and amend drawings using Auto CAD.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.

Ensure designs comply with relevant planning, building regulations, and healthcare design standards.

Attend client meetings, design reviews, and site inspections as required.

Support project delivery to agreed programmes, budgets, and quality standards.

Resolve technical design issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Assist with contract administration and construction-stage services where required.

Essential Requirements

Fully qualified Architect (ARB registered and RIBA chartered or equivalent).

Proven post-qualification experience in architectural practice.

Strong proficiency in Revit and Auto CAD.

Significant experience delivering healthcare projects, including hospitals, clinics, or other healthcare facilities.

Excellent understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing.

Experience producing technical packages and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Full right to work in the UK.

Desirable Skills

Experience working within BIM Level 2/ISO 19650 environments.

Knowledge of HTMs (Health Technical Memoranda) and HBNs (Health Building Notes).

Experience with NBS Chorus or specification writing.

Familiarity with project management and contract administration.

Knowledge of sustainable design principles and environmental standards.
