Location: Rochester, Kent
Salary: £43,000 - £47,000 per annum

About the Role
Our client, an established organisation within the Environmental Services sector, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team based in Rochester, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will support a variety of engineering activities, working closely with internal teams, clients and stakeholders to help deliver high-quality engineering solutions and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the delivery of mechanical engineering projects and activities.
- Carry out site visits, inspections and surveys as required.
- Support the preparation of technical documentation and reports.
- Liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
- Attend meetings and provide engineering input where required.
- Assist with problem solving and technical support activities.
- Ensure work is completed in line with company procedures and industry standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and sustainable working practices.
- Support project delivery from inception through to completion.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Requirements
- Previous Mechanical Engineering experience.
- Mechanical Engineering Degree, HND, HNC or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Professional and client-focused approach.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
Location Requirement
Candidates must be able to reliably commute to and work on-site in Rochester, Kent.
