My Oxford based Client is urgently recruiting for a driven and highly organised Events Manager or Project Manager with strong stakeholder management skills and experience delivering end-to-end events. You'll be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating events that meet strategic objectives-ensuring they're delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans and Gantt charts for multiple concurrent events
- Lead and facilitate workshops with internal teams and external stakeholders to align objectives and define event outcomes
- Coordinate with stakeholders, sponsors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution
- Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals for internal approvals and client engagement
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards
- Post-event evaluation including stakeholder feedback and performance analysis
About You
- Proven experience managing events or projects from concept to completion
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels
- Strong organisational and planning abilities-proficient in project management tools and Gantt chart creation
- Skilled in facilitating workshops to gather input and align stakeholders
- Confident preparing and delivering proposals and presentations
- High attention to detail, multitasking ability, and calm under pressure
- Knowledge of budgeting, timelines, and event operations
Desirable
- Experience in corporate or agency events
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or similar
- A background in marketing, communications, or business is advantageous
