About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Revit Architect to join our established design practice in Cardiff.

You will lead projects through all RIBA stages, combining design creativity with technical accuracy and BIM delivery.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of client relationships, design coordination, and project management while maintaining model integrity in Autodesk Revit.

Key Responsibilities

Lead projects from initial concept design (RIBA Stages 0-2) through to construction and handover (RIBA Stages 3-6).

Develop detailed BIM/Revit models, drawing packages, and technical specifications.

Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, structural engineers, and local authorities.

Ensure all designs meet UK Building Regulations, Welsh Development Quality Requirements (WDQR where applicable), and planning policies.

Perform multi-disciplinary clash detection, model reviews, and family creation within Revit.

Administer construction contracts (JCT/NEC) and manage on-site queries.

Requirements

Qualification: ARB Registered Architect (minimum 3 years post-qualification experience / Part 3).

Experience: Minimum 5 years' hands-on UK architectural practice experience.

Technical Proficiency: Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit is essential. Experience with Enscape/V-Ray, Auto CAD, and NBS Chorus is highly advantageous.

Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and local Welsh planning processes.

Proven track record of delivering technical production packages and running jobs on site.

Valid UK work authorization and willingness to visit sites across South Wales
