They are looking for an experienced commercial professional who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level. You will ideally have experience in a senior commercial, procurement, buying or category management environment, particularly where you have managed a large and complex product portfolio. You will be commercially minded, analytical and confident negotiating with suppliers, but equally comfortable presenting recommendations and business cases to senior leadership.
Essential Experience
Experience in a senior commercial, procurement, buying or similar role.
Experience managing a large-scale product portfolio, ideally 10,000+ SKUs.
Proven experience in supplier management and commercial negotiation.
Experience negotiating and managing supplier rebate agreements.
Strong understanding of pricing strategy, margin management and commercial performance.
Experience developing and executing medium- to long-term commercial strategies.
Experience managing projects and leading people.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with dedicated analytics/data teams.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to build a compelling commercial narrative. xgikmsk
